Playground Improvement
The Signature project from 2012-2016 was that the Sedalia Park Foundation partnered with Resurgens Charitable Foundation and Publix Super Market Charities to bring in a new ADA Compliant playground for our students. Providing our students a safe place to play and exercise is crucial to their physical fitness and overall well-being.
New Window Treatments
During the 2013-2014 school year, the Sedalia Park Foundation partnered with The Home Depot to facilitate the purchase and installation of new blinds for the windows in our school's cafeteria.
New Gymnasium Floor
From 2012-2014, the Sedalia Park Foundation made replacing the outdated flooring in our school's gymnasium a priority of our focus and our fundraising. Raising awareness contributed to new, safer, healthier flooring being installed during the 2013-2014 school year.
Update Learning Commons
We are proud to announce our current initiative is to help transform our Media Center into a 21st Century Learning Commons! A Learning Commons is better known as a collaborative physical and virtual environment that invites and ignites participatory learning and active discovery. Our books - both print and digital - will remain a vital part of the program. Reading remains an important function of the Learning Commons model, which will continue to offer flexible, quiet reading areas for groups and individual students.
